Our Mission
Our mission is to hold financial institutions and governments accountable for the rightful distribution of public funds.
We work with the public and private sectors to redistribute agency wealth built from public debt overages back to their rightful owners before legal deadlines expire which often allow them to keep those funds forever.
If a claim to distribute certain types of public funds is not made in time, the funds will “escheat” to the agency holding them, meaning you may not be able to claim them any longer. The government should not be able to hold your money from you just because it is legal to do so. We consider this practice to be unethical, fraudulent and offers evidence of intentional neglect on the part of our financial institutions and our various levels of government. When a bank or the government collect balances owed to them, you could be considered criminally liable if you don’t pay or even by delaying payment, even if you are unaware the debt ever existed. They behave hypocritically by remaining silent when they owe YOU funds and hiding behind unethical loopholes in the law while they delay action and earn high interest on your funds or reap financial rewardsmfrom investing your held funds – all the while moving closer to that legal deadline that will allow them to keep your funds indefinitely.
Our goals and objectives help to ensure that this doesn’t happen often! We actively audit government files and documents for these unclaimed funds, and when we find them, we make it our personal mission to reunite them with their rightful owner. We don’t always reach them all and we are not always successful convincing people the funds are real and rightfully belong to them; but when we are successful, we feel GREAT about our part to enhance public well-being and enforce government accountability.
We use our expertise and our professional credentials to ACT OUT LOUD against oppressive bureaucratic processes which build wealth for the government by oppressing the wealth of the people!

Company History
People First Asset Recovery was founded by its Managing Director, Jennifer Brooks in 2023. Ms. Brooks has spent more than 25 years as an Accounting, Finance, and Audit professional serving the private, public, corporate and government sectors alike, including executive management expertise in financial controls and compliance, where unclaimed assets and the process of escheatment to State governments are quite common.
